ORLANDO, Fla. – The Florida College of Emergency Physicians (FCEP) received a visit from Florida gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink at the staff office in Orlando on Nov. 11. Sink, who is currently the state's chief financial officer, met with FCEP leadership and discussed the future of Florida's healthcare system and the state's economy.

FCEP leaders will meet with candidate Bill McCollum as well, as they continue to bring the concerns of FCEP's members to those in position to help our patients receive the best access to quality emergency care.

The Florida College of Emergency Physicians (FCEP) represents more than 1,200 emergency physicians in the state of Florida. FCEP members represent the health care safety net of Florida’s residents and visitors. More than seven million patients seek care annually in Florida emergency departments. FCEP was founded on Oct. 15, 1971 and is headquartered in Orlando.
