Overview of 2007 Legislative Session
The Florida College of Emergency Physicians specifically
targeted several areas of legislative efforts in 2007, primarily:
Personal Injury Protection (PIP),
Board Certification,
Sovereign
Immunity,
Private Cause of Action, and
EMLRC Funding.
PIP was not saved
during Session and FCEP worked hard all summer to get it included in
the special session. PIP is back, thanks to the hard work of
your FCEP leadership and lobbyist in the special session.
