Military Medical Treatment Facility	Eglin Air Force Base, FL	Full Time Position Available Emergency Services Physician – Emergency Services Specialist Full Time Position Providing Civilian Services at this Military Medical Treatment Facility. Qualifications: Physicians shall meet the experience, training, and certification requirements for the appropriate level of emergency medical staff physician in accordance with regulations. Shall have successfully completed an approved Emergency Medicine (EM) residency accepted to the USAF Surgeon General and be board eligible/certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. Possess and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Current ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certification is not required, however, successful completion of an ATLS course, with certification, at some point in the past is required. The Emergency Services Physician shall remain on-shift until the relief physician arrives. He/she shall ensure that continuity of care is provided to all patients. Must possess controlled substances registration certificate from the DEA. IAW the laws of the state in which he/she is licensed. Be a Doctor of Medicine (M.D) or Osteopathy (D.O) Successfully completed and internship and residency in an accredited U.S Training Program ACGME approved residency and be board certified in their perspective specialty. Shall have and maintain an active, valid unrestricted, current medical license in a US jurisdiction. Shall have 24 months of experience within the last 36 months.
