Mel Gottlieb hugs an emotional Dr. Michael Zappa, winner of the 2006 Martin J. Gottlieb Award for advocacy
in Emergency Medicine, during the Town Hall Meeting at the 2006 Symposium by the Sea. Dr. Zappa, a past
FCEP President and the current Vice President of the EMLRC, was a friend of Marty's and a very deserving
recipient of the award for his efforts to advance Emergency Medicine.
